The DeWalt grinder saved me a lot of time removing bolts and staples when replacing the floor of my 1968 Airstream camper . This tool worked great with the DW8309 flap disk, which allowed me to grind my rusted frame down to the metal in a very short time. This grinder is not to heavy when working above your head,it is a great tool and has a powerful motor. The grinder saved me time and the tool did all the work with out me using a lot of arm strength. Workin' On The Jeep
I got t-boned in a wreck about a month ago on the drivers side and my insurance company wouldn't cover it. So it really did a number on the Jeep and my wallet. I have been working slowly to get it back on the road but have been low on funds due to prices soaring everywhere. So far I had to replace the front axle and a bunch of front suspension and steering parts. The grinder has definitely helped out having to relocate mounting brackets for suspension and rewelding them. What is shown in the picture is me finally getting onto the body work. I took the fender flairs off and the plastic sidesteps then started to grind off the metal mounting strip that hold them on. Other then that, waiting for more tools or cash to dump into this pit. Hope you guys enjoy.
